The second stop on during our time in South Africa was the Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator, a non-profit organization that provides insights to solve youth unemployment and successfully places young candidates with job opportunities. Since 2011, Harambee has successfully placed over 50,000 youth with their first job! Through a network of employers, government partnerships, and global contributions, Harambee is actively working to end the youth unemployment crisis. Global Citizen has partnered with Harambee to employ 75 youth in the Gauteng area for the Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100. Learn more about Harambee here:
