12-year-old Kheris Rogers and her older sister Taylor took matters into their own hands after Kheris had been bullied at school for her dark complexion. Taylor posted a tweet of Kheris with the hashtag #FlexinInMyComplexion and the tweet went viral with an outpouring of positive messages. The sisters decided to launch the Flexin' In My Complexion brand, which they are now both co-CEOs. In just two years, they've sold over 10,000 t-shirts, capturing the attention of some celebrities including Lena Waithe, Lupita Nyong'o, and more. The support landed Kheris on American's Next Top Model, Steve Harvey's Show "Steve", and a Nike advertisement. Kheris's confidence has soared as a result, and she and her sister use social media to share inspiration, new Flexin' In My Complexion drops, and upcoming projects.
